...Just to name a few

The devious dynamic of the show boils down to Tyler Sutter and Carl Skenes. Crossing paths for the first time in March 2009, these two performers began working on the same stage almost immediately. Booking art shows and exhibits under the name Sutter and Skenes, they would each do bits from their solo shows, attempting to top each other while often displaying terrible sportsmanship. Four months later Sutter and Skenes changed to "The 20 Penny Opera", and the costumes changed to matching suits.  Following a "creative lockdown", solo material changed to a more cohesive ensemble show, and Opera was dropped in favor of Circus. Emerging from the lab with a new show, new tools, beer, and for the first time, clown makeup, they began to expose the world to their blend of magic, circus, sideshow, and comedy in a fresh new style of vaudevillian variety.

Tyler Sutter

Discovering his love for performing in early high school, Tyler Sutter began to direct his attention to the magical arts. Working in Orlando's only year-round haunted attraction, he began developing his performing and improv skills on unsuspecting patrons. After High school he immediately began what would turn out to be a 5 year run inside Orlando's Universal theme park. Performing over 30,000 magic shows for over 1 million international guests in his time there, something he credits with honing his skills. Tyler also performed his own solo show at many nightclubs and bar venues as well as touring as an opening act for bands and comedians.

Carl Skenes

Born into a family of performers, Carl Skenes started his career as a dancer.  After starting to perform at age seven with the Dixie Stampede, Dollywood Prod. show, he was cast as a dancer at Walt Disney World for a successful three years.  His contract included performing in the annual Disney Christmas Special on ABC, which paved the way to the study of theater.  Like his father, he is an accomplished balloon artist, magician, and stunt performer extrordinaire, having entertained at the filming of TNT's Christmas in Washington, and in Atlantic City, a one-man show at the Dickens Parlour Theatre in the Tropicana Casino.  His show included magic, mindreading, and sideshow stunts.
